There will be a few slippery spots on untreated roads, bridges, overpasses and sidewalks early this morning from any wet spots that froze overnight. Morning commuters and pedestrians should use caution. Lake-effect snow showers will bring 1 to 2 inches of powdery snow to northern Vilas County tonight into Tuesday morning. Locally hazardous travel conditions are expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Wind chills are forecast to fall from 10 below to 25 below zero on Tuesday morning. A bitterly cold arctic airmass is forecast to surge into the region on Sunday and continue into early next week.
