This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Arrival of arctic air combined with gusty west winds will lead to
bitterly cold wind chills from 10 below to 25 below zero this
morning, as well as late tonight.

There will be a few slippery spots on untreated roads, bridges,
overpasses and sidewalks early this morning from any wet spots
that froze overnight. Morning commuters and pedestrians should
use caution.

Lake-effect snow showers will bring 1 to 2 inches of powdery snow
to northern Vilas County tonight into Tuesday morning. Locally
hazardous travel conditions are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Wind chills are forecast to fall from 10 below to 25 below zero
on Tuesday morning.

A bitterly cold arctic airmass is forecast to surge into the
region on Sunday and continue into early next week. Early
indications suggest dangerously cold wind chills will be possible
at times.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation should not be needed today or tonight.
