Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Much of Wrn NC...NW SC and NE GA
National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg SC
350 PM EST Mon Mar 8 2021

...INCREASED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON FOR NORTHEAST
GEORGIA...
...CRITICALLY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY IN ALL AREAS THIS AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of dry surface high pressure will persist but gradually
weaken over the Carolinas and northeast Georgia through much of the
week. A developing upper level high pressure ridge will result in a
warming trend, with temperatures likely becoming well above normal
during the latter half of the week. Rain chances will increase
during the weekend and into early next week as a cold front
approaches from the west.
