This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop
across the mountains through the evening. Isolated storms may reach
severe levels and produce large hail and damaging winds. Otherwise,
the main threats will be cloud- to-ground lightning and torrential
downpours. Locally heavy rainfall due to slow-moving storms may cause
isolated flooding.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop across
the Piedmont this evening. The main threats from these storms include
cloud-to-ground lighting, small hail, torrential downpours, and gusty
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

..Wednesday...Excessive heat possible. Heat index values will reach
100 to 105 across most of the Piedmont of the Carolinas and Northeast
Georgia.
