This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the mountains of western North
Carolina and Rabun County in northeast Georgia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Patchy frost will be possible in some sheltered mountain locations
around daybreak on Thursday and Friday mornings. Patchy frost may
develop again behind a stronger cold front Sunday morning, but a more
widespread frost and freeze is most likely on Sunday night into early
Monday morning.

Cool, Canadian air will spill into the region on Sunday. Areas of
frost could develop across the foothills and piedmont Sunday night
into Monday morning as winds become light in the chilly airmass.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop across the region
this afternoon. The greatest chance of thunderstorms will be
southeast of the Interstate 85 corridor. The primary threat with any
thunderstorms will be a few cloud-to-ground lightning strikes.
