Gusty NW to N winds will diminish tonight as high pressure moves across North Carolina, bringing light winds, veering onshore on Tuesday. A strong cold front will approach from the west Wednesday and move offshore Wednesday night. Canadian high pressure will build in Thursday and Friday with cooler and much drier air.
