.DISCUSSION...
A weak front will slowly dissipate across the area today as the Bermuda
ridge remains in place. The Bermuda ridge will weaken Saturday
as it shifts further south and east. Subtropical Storm Alberto will lift
slowly through the Gulf of Mexico into early next week. Deep tropical
moisture will lift into the Carolinas beginning Sunday, bringing widespread
and heavy rainfall through the middle of next week.
