...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS SOUTH OF
WINYAH BAY...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20
  nm...

At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near the South Santee River
Entrance to near Jimmy Leland Tug, moving northeast at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
