...GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED FOR SOME NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA
COUNTIES...

Based on the observed duration of freezing temperatures at
airport, cooperative observer, and mesonet stations last night,
the 2020 Growing Season has ended for the following counties:

In southeastern North Carolina...
Pender (inland)
Bladen
Columbus
Robeson

In northeastern South Carolina...
Dillon
Marion
Florence
Marlboro
Darlington

No further advisories or warnings for frost or freezing
temperatures will be issued for these counties until the
beginning of the 2021 Growing Season.

Since subfreezing temperatures did not occur closer to the coast,
advisories and warnings will continue to be issued for frost or
freezing temperatures in the following counties:

In southeastern North Carolina...
Pender (coastal)
New Hanover (inland and coastal)
Brunswick (inland and coastal)

In northeastern South Carolina...
Horry (northern, central, and coastal)
Georgetown (inland and coastal)
Williamsburg
