Today will feature cloud- filtered sunshine and mild high temperatures in the lower 50s to lower 60s, north-to-south. Minimum RH values of 30-40 percent are expected south of the Mountain Parkway with higher values to the north. A passing warm front and trailing cold front will bring widespread showers Wednesday and Wednesday night. Most locations will see between one quarter and three quarters of an inch of rainfall. Strong wind gusts of 25-30 mph will also be possible with this system. Drier weather with well above normal temperatures follows for Thursday and Friday. Thereafter, a much cooler weather pattern takes shape by early next week.
