This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A strong cold front will track through the area Wednesday
afternoon and early Wednesday night. Initially there will be
chances for rain showers late Wednesday and early Wednesday
night, along with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Rain will
then changeover to snow or wintry mix by late Wednesday night,
mainly over northern Nebraska and the Sandhills. Snow will then
remain possible across northwestern Nebraska Thursday. The
greatest threat for accumulating snow is far northwestern Nebraska
where there is a decent threat for 1 to 3 inches of snow
accumulation.
