Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
Northerly flow is expected today behind a departing cold front.
High pressure 30.40 inches builds over the lake tonight before
exiting to the east by Friday. A warm front lifts across Lake Erie
Saturday morning as low pressure 25.50 inches tracks into the
upper Midwest and Great Lakes. The lake will remain between a
series of low pressure systems tracking through the upper Midwest
and high pressure along the East Coast through the weekend.

2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to
20 knots. Showers Friday night. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest. A
chance of showers during the day. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to
