This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Limited Tornado risk.
     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will continue into the early evening.
Conditions remain favorable for a couple of storms to potentially become
tornadic until around sunset, along with a low threat of damaging
wind gusts. The greatest risk of severe weather is south and west of a line
from Dixon to Joliet to Fowler Indiana.

Dangerous swim conditions will continue into Wednesday for all nearshore
waters along southern Lake Michigan.
