This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A few heavy downpours will possible through this afternoon ahead of
strong cold front. This may produce minor flooding of low-lying areas.
Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No significant hazardous weather is expected.

   Coastal Flood Advisory.

Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph will be possible ahead of a storm system
today. These strong winds will lead to high surf conditions from
Cape Hatteras south. The strong winds will also lead to high water
levels on the soundside of the Outer Banks...especially areas from
Rodanthe north where inundation up to 1 foot will be possible. Heavy
downpours are also expected which could produce minor flooding of
low-lying areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No significant hazardous weather is expected.
