The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 0-20 nm...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 623 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Fort Pierce South to near Saint Lucie West to 14 nm
  southwest of Port Saint Lucie to 10 nm east of Buckhead Ridge,
  moving southeast at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
           waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on
           board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Palm City, Port Saint Lucie River Park, Sand Cut, Saint Lucie West,
  and Fort Pierce South.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
