Weak low pressure along a frontal boundary will move across today
bringing some light rain and a few showers. Conditions are
expected to improve overall during the afternoon with seasonable
temperatures. For tonight it will be dry to start with mostly
cloudy skies. Rain is expected to develop across southern portions
of the area towards daybreak. Lows will range from the lower 40s
well north, to the middle 40s and lower 50s elsewhere.

It will be rainy and breezy on Thursday as the remnants of Zeta
moves into the area. The rain will continue into Thursday night as
the winds increase, especially across coastal sections where the
winds will gust 30 to 35 mph at times. The rain will taper off
into Friday, with rain lingering into the morning. The rain will
mix with and possibly change to a wintry mix and snow across far
northern sections during Friday morning. The storm system will
pull away during Friday afternoon and evening with clearing
developing from west to east as high pressure builds into the
region. This will lead to dry and chilly weather to begin the
weekend.
