Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
334 PM EDT Sat Mar 28 2020

Warm front will continue to approach from the south tonight,
stalling just south of Long Island Sunday morning. Occasional rain
and drizzle will occur tonight. The increased cloudiness will
keep the region warm overnight with temperatures remaining in the
mid to upper 40s.

Rain and drizzle persists Sunday due a frontal wave approaches
from the west. Afternoon highs may only reach around 50 degrees
as overcast skies and areas of fog suppress daytime heating. A
weak cold front pushes into the area late Sunday night briefly
bringing the rain to an end though another slight chance of
showers may be possible Monday.
