The best chance will be across far northern and northwestern sections. Areas of low clouds and possible fog are expected to develop across eastern portions of the region tonight and into the early morning. Temperatures will remain nearly steady with mainly 60s during the overnight. On Monday a cold front will begin to draw closer from the west. This will lead to an ongoing chance of showers and thunderstorms as temperatures reach the lower and middle 80s in most locations, with mainly 70s and few upper 60s across eastern and coastal sections. As the cold front moves through during Monday evening, drier and cooler air begins to filter into the region. Skies will clear during Monday night and for Tuesday with temperatures averaging near normal. $$ JE/DW is the U.S. government's official web portal to all federal, state and local government web resources and services.
