Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
428 PM EDT Mon Apr 16 2018

High pressure will build into the area tonight after a cold front
exits the tri-state. However, the low associated with the cold
front will linger in Northern New England. Any lingering rain
showers will taper off, with dry conditions returning to the
entire tri-state late this evening. Winds will continue to
diminish. Lows will be near normal, in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with another chance for rain, mainly
for interior locations, as an upper level disturbance moves
through. However, rainfall amounts will be nowhere near what they
were earlier on Monday, with less than a tenth of an inch of rain
expected. Cooler air will work into the region, providing below
normal temperatures for this time of year. Highs will range from
the upper 40s to near 50.

Tuesday night into Wednesday will be dry, with another chance for
precipitation Wednesday night. Temperatures will be near normal
for Wednesday.
