Deepening low pressure moves northward from the Mid Atlantic
region today, and passes to the north tonight into Sunday.An
associated cold front will move through the region this
afternoon. Rain will become lighter and gradual taper off from
the west and south into this evening, then end by midnight. High
temperatures will range from the upper 40s inland to the mid 50s
along the coast. Tonight and Sunday will be breezy with a westerly
flow behind the departing low and high pressure building in form
the west. Winds will be 15 to 25 miles per hour, gusting up to 35
miles per hour. Lows tonight will range from 35 to around 40.

High pressure briefly builds across the region Sunday, and moves
offshore Sunday night. Sunday`s highs are expected to range in the
40s. Another low pressure system will impact he region Monday.
With cold air remaining at the surface and warmer air moving in
aloft, a wintry mix of precipitation is likely for the interior
mainly Monday afternoon and night, with primarily rain for New
York City and Long Island.
