Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
322 AM EDT Wed Apr 25 2018

Rain is expected today as an area of low pressure approaches from
the south. The rain could be heavy at times, then taper off later
in the day. A rumble of thunder is possible as well.

Temperatures today will remain cooler than normal due to the
clouds, rain and onshore winds.

By tonight, the area of low pressure passes over the region, then
moves to the north across New England. A few lingering showers are
possible, and fog is expected to develop. Sunshine returns on
Thursday as temperatures warm into the 60s.
