Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
352 AM EDT Sat May 19 2018

A warm front will slowly approach from the south today and pass
north of the region tonight. This will bring a soaking rain
across the region today, with a few showers and possibly a
thunderstorm this evening. Temperatures will remain unseasonably
chilly today ahead of the front, likely holding in the upper 50s
to lower 60s.

A cold front will slowly pass through the region on Sunday. A few
showers and thunderstorms are possible along this front Sunday
morning into afternoon. Otherwise, a few breaks of sun are
possible across western portions of the Tri-State by late in the
day. Temperatures should rise to above seasonable levels on
Sunday.

Dry and seasonably warm weather is likely for Monday as high
pressure moves across the region.
