DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 AM ChST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 26W was
located near Latitude 15.0 degrees North and Longitude 162.9 degrees
East. Tropical Depression 26W is moving west-northwest at 14 mph and
is expected to maintain this general course with a slight increase in
forward speed through Wednesday. The current forecast track shows 26W
passing north of Agrihan late in the week before turning northward.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. Tropical Depression 26W is
expected to intensify the next few days, possibly becoming a tropical
storm Wednesday.
