This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall today.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop mostly across
mountain areas today, which may lead to some localized flash
flooding threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop each afternoon and
evening through the early half of next week. Each day, a few of
storms will be capable of producing localized damaging wind gusts, as
well as heavy rain that may result in flash flooding.
