DRY CONDITIONS WITH HAZY SKIES WILL CONTINUE OVER THE REGION.
EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL RANGE FROM 12-18 MPH, WITH HIGHER
GUSTS DUE TO THE SEA BREEZE MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
MINIMUM RH VALUES ARE FORECAST TO REACH NEAR CRITICAL VALUES
ALONG THE SOUTHERN COASTAL AREAS OF PUERTO RICO. ELEVATED FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE THUS EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN COASTAL
AREAS OF PUERTO RICO.

FIRE AND EMERGENCY OFFICIALS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE BECOMING MORE CONDUCIVE FOR THE IGNITION AND
SPREAD OF WILD FIRES.

FIRE DANGER STATEMENTS ARE ISSUED WHEN FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE APPROACHING, BUT NOT MEETING OR EXCEEDING, RED FLAG WARNING
CRITERIA.
