FIRE WEATHER DANGER. RISK...Limited. AREA...Along and north of I-44. ONSET...This afternoon. DISCUSSION... Southwest winds will gust 15 to 20 mph along and north of I-44 this afternoon, where humidity values are expected to drop into the 20 to 30 percent range. This will yield limited to near elevated fire weather danger. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. WEDNESDAY...No Hazards. THURSDAY and FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. SATURDAY...No Hazards. SUNDAY and MONDAY...Very High Fire Weather and High Wind Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... A storm system will track across the region Thursday night into Friday. There will be enough elevated instability to yield at least isolated thunderstorm potential, mainly across eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas.
