ONSET...After Midnight. DISCUSSION... Widely scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder will progress eastward throughout the evening and exit the area later tonight. No severe weather is expected. As skies clear some this evening, some patchy fog could develop, especially across northwest Arkansas and far northeast Oklahoma. More cloud cover spreading in from the north should limit more widespread fog development over the region. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Rain and thunderstorm chances increase again across far northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas Tuesday afternoon. No severe weather is expected. After a lull in precipitation Tuesday night into Wednesday, thunderstorm chances increase again for the second half of this week with limited severe potential as another series of disturbances impact the region.
