...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO
9 PM AKST THIS EVENING FOR THE HOMER BLUFFS AND DIAMOND RIDGE...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Homer Bluffs and Diamond Ridge.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to 9 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Monderate precipitation will develop over
  the greater Kachemak Bay area this morning. Temperatures will
  likely remain too warm at sea level for snow initially, but
  colder air will work its way in from the west as the day
  progresses. Snow totals of two to five inches are expected by
  Monday morning at sea level, but accumulations will be higher or
  lower depending on when precipitation transitions from rain to
  snow.
