Clear skies and calm winds have allowed for efficient radiational cooling across the mountain valleys, dropping temperatures into the low to mid 30s in the typical mountain valley cold spots. Patchy frost development is possible in the aforementioned areas this morning as a result. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Take steps to protect tender plants from the cold. $$ LC
