and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally in northwest
Arkansas and also north of I44 and east of highway 75. They were
most widespread and heaviest in Madison county in Arkansas. Movement
was slowly to the west at 5 to 10 mph. The average amount where it
rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch with maximum
amounts of three quarters to around an inch. Coverage, and intensity
increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early
this evening, mostly clear, a slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 79 to 90 degrees and southeast winds
up to 10 mph.
