...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR COCONINO COUNTYNEAR MORMON LAKE...

At 425 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has moved out of
the area. Previous rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches will continue to
cause flash flooding.

HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings,
         creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mormon Lake, Lakeview, Mormon Mountain, Munds Park and Happy Jack.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Dairy Springs Campground and Double Springs Campground.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Sawmill Wash, Jacks Canyon, Rattlesnake Canyon, Walnut Creek and
  West Clear Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will
become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could
become flooded as well.
