The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Crawford County in east central Missouri...

* Until 945 AM CDT Friday.

* At 344 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Over two inches of rain have
  already fallen just north of Rosati. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

Additional rainfall amounts over one inch are possible in the warned
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
