Fire Weather Planning Forecast For CEN/ERN VA...NE NC...MD ERN SHORE
National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
404 PM EDT Wed Mar 11 2026

.DISCUSSION...
Tonight will remain primarily dry, however, a shower/thunderstorm
(possibly strong/severe) cannot be ruled out this evening from
Louisa County to the Maryland Eastern Shore. While southwest
winds remain gusty tonight, min RH values will generally be in the
40 to 50 percent range this afternoon. A strong cold front will
bring widespread showers very late tonight through the day on
Thursday. Dry and breezy by Friday as high pressure builds south
of the region.
