Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western and Central North Dakota
National Weather Service Bismarck ND
411 AM CDT Fri Jun 18 2021

.DISCUSSION...

Another breezy day is expected on Friday as winds turn northwest
behind a cold front, which should also bring generally cooler
temperatures and higher relative humidity. The exception will be
across the far southwest and the far south central where minimum
relative humidity may fall to as low as 20 percent in the
afternoon. There will be a slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms across the north this afternoon.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms increase across the region
Saturday afternoon, with highs back into the mid 70s to mid 80s.
Precipitation chances linger through the day Sunday, with even
cooler high temperatures in the 60s and 70s expected Sunday and
Monday. The cooler air will help keep relative humidities a bit
higher, but warmer and drier conditions quickly return heading
into the middle of the week.
