A powerful storm system will continue to impact the districts through midweek. Look for another day of strong winds today across most of the area with gust 50-60 mph common. Widespread rainfall will again target mainly eastern districts. Snowfall will take a break in the high country today before heavy snow returns to the Beartooths and Big Horns late tonight through Wednesday night with well over a foot of wet snow for north facing slopes. Lower elevations will see mainly rainfall with the eastern districts (Yellowstone east including Sioux Ranger, Custer, Ashland Ranger) up to 0.5-1 inch of additional liquid precipitation through midweek (probability 30-60% >1.00 inches). The weather system will gradually exit to the southeast later in the work week with warmer and drier conditions by the weekend.
