Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service Cheyenne WY
106 PM MDT Tue Jun 22 2021

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL WYOMING AND THE SOUTHEAST WYOMING
MOUNTAINS...

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE
SOUTHEAST WYOMING MOUNTAINS...

.DISCUSSION...Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the mountain
zones in southeast Wyoming for critical or near critical
conditions. Similar conditions are possible on Wednesday, but
cloud cover and a weak disturbance aloft may result in less than
favorable conditions. Decided to keep the Fire Weather Watch going
due to changes in current model guidance for Wednesday afternoon.
Otherwise, fire weather concerns will diminish by Thursday and
Friday as a cooler and unsettled weather pattern develops over the
region and continues into early next week.
