Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas
National Weather Service El Paso TX/Santa Teresa NM
610 AM MDT Tue Oct 4 2022

.DISCUSSION...
No fire weather concerns are expected through the week as an
upper low cuts off from the main flow. Moisture levels will remain
relatively high for early October around the developing low with
daily chances for showers and thunderstorms across the region.
Mountain areas should see the heaviest rainfall with localized
flooding possible. Temperatures stay below average in the 70s in
the lowlands while winds are below critical thresholds outside of
gusty outflows.
