Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
524 AM CDT Sun May 27 2018

.DISCUSSION...Patchy fog, some of which could be dense, will be
possible around the forecast area this morning. Then scattered
thunderstorms are expected for most zones by this afternoon and
evening. Apart from gusty and erratic winds near thunderstorms,
winds will be generally out of the northeast through early this
week as Subtropical Storm Alberto lifts northward through Alabama.
The best chances for heavy rainfall over the next few days will
be across far eastern Mississippi.
