Yet another nocturnal surge has developed during the early
morning hours and has spread across the island chain with all
observation sites showing speeds of around 15 mph with higher
gusts. Winds will quickly decrease after sunrise and wind
direction will shift from the south to southwest to the northwest
later this afternoon. Dew points will continue to remain in the
mid to upper 70s, resulting in afternoon min RH values holding
above 50 percent. Lastly, a threat for an isolated thunderstorm is
possible this afternoon if the inversion can be overcome.
