Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
135 PM CDT Sun Jul 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Min RH above critical 15%, good to excellent overnight recovery,
ERCS below 50th percentile, recent wetting rains and light 20-ft
humid, southeast winds all keep fire weather conditions low
through the end of the week. Fire starts cannot be ruled out from
gusty, erratic winds and lightning in any storms, but vegetation
greenery and fuel moisture will limit intensity and spread of any
flames.
