Fire Weather Planning Forecast For West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
127 PM CDT Mon Jun 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will warm near normal this afternoon, and again
Tuesday, but minimum RHs will remain above 15% both afternoons, and
general southeasterly winds 10kt or less. RHs will drop below 15%
over portions of the Guadalupe Mountains and SE NM Plains Wednesday
afternoon as temperatures warm above normal. Since 20 foot winds
will mainly be lower than 15 mph, critical fire weather conditions
are not expected. It will be even hotter Thursday into next
weekend, and at least near critical conditions could occur some of
those days.
