...Low RH And Gusty Winds Today...

An enhanced fire danger statement has been issued for the entire
area due to low RH and gusty winds this afternoon through early
evening. Relative humidity values will drop into the mid to upper 20s for
most of the area this afternoon. In addition, west to northwest
winds between 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph are expected.
Wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected across the higher elevations
of the east TN mountains. Gusty winds begin to pick up around
noon and should subside by sunset.
