Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
240 AM EDT Tue Apr 16 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A quick round of showers and thunderstorms will be possible late
this afternoon across far northeast Tennessee and southwest
Virginia. Increased moisture ahead of an approaching system will
help relative humidity values somewhat elevated through Wednesday.
Better rain chances for most of the area will return on Wednesday.
Temperatures will be above normal for much of the week, followed
by cooler temperatures for the weekend.
