.DISCUSSION...
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will move across the area
this afternoon and evening. The main threat from these storms will
be damaging wind gusts that could knock down trees and power lines,
along with heavy downpours that could cause localized water issues.
The storms will move out by 9 PM.
High pressure moves in tonight, bringing clear skies and areas of
dense fog in the river valleys by early Saturday morning. Saturday
will be dry and a little cooler. Another round of showers and storms
is possible on Sunday, and some of those storms could also be
strong. Dry and pleasant weather returns for Monday and Tuesday.
