Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
356 AM EDT Fri Apr 20 2018

.DISCUSSION...

A large high will cover much of the eastern United States today
through Saturday. Low pressure over the lower Mississippi Valley
on Sunday will track northeast to the Virginia coast by Wednesday.
This will bring widespread rain and below normal temperatures to
the Mid Atlantic region Monday and Tuesday.

Friday will be a very dry day as humidities sink to 20 to 30
percent over the region. 20 foot winds will be in the 6 to 12 mph
range, with the lighter winds east of the Blue Ridge.

Saturday will be another dry day but humidities will be slightly
higher (30 to 40 percent) than Friday. With high pressure overhead,
winds will be light and variable.
