.DISCUSSION...
High temperatures will gradually rise through Saturday, with
Saturday high temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above average for
inland areas. Monsoonal moisture will bring chances for afternoon
showers and thunderstorms for the mountains and deserts through
the middle of next week with the chance for wetting rain 10
percent or less today and 10 to 15 percent for Sunday through
Wednesday. While wetting rain is expected from any thunderstorms,
there could still be lightning strikes on the edges of the storms
in areas with limited rainfall. Then gradually cooler and drier
for the latter half of next week.
