Similar conditions to yesterday are expected today across Puerto
Rico, Vieques and Culebra. A strong Saharan Air Layer will
continue to promote drier air and hazy skies across the local
area. Breezy conditions are possible across the western coastal
areas due to the stronger sea breeze, and wind speeds should range
between 14-22 mph with higher gusts. Relative humidities should
drop once again into the low 50% along the southern coastal areas
of Puerto Rico. However, the KBDI remains below critical fire
weather thresholds.
