Elevated fire weather persists through the weekend. Dry fuels, hot temperatures and low humidity are combining to create a mix of NEAR CRITICAL to CRITICAL fire weather conditions. Expect relatively light winds, however there will still be periods of offshore winds forecast for the Central Coast through this evening. Low end conditions still warrant the ongoing Red Flag Warning for zones 517,518,516. A weak ripple in the upper atmosphere may enhance winds at 2,500 over the North Bay, East Bay and Santa Cruz higher terrain this morning. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... The warm and dry conditions are generally expected to continue for much of the next week although there will be some slight decrease in temperatures. Nighttime relative humidity recoveries and afternoon RH will remain low. Friday an upper level trough will bring a brief increase in fire danger due increased winds, especially over the higher terrain. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-032315- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 404 AM PDT Thu Oct 3 2024 Elevated fire weather persists through the weekend.
