.DISCUSSION...
A storm system will move over the west coast of Alaska today and into early
Wednesday generating widespread rain. Despite gusty southerly winds this
afternoon and Tuesday...the expected rain and higher humidities should
help diminish fire activity. Wetting rains are expected on this fire
during this time - the best chance is Tuesday and Tuesday night. Use
caution as the rains will likely cause the dirt roads to become slick and
muddy. High pressure develops behind this storm system on Wednesday with
warmer and drier conditions expected on this fire location Thursday into
the weekend.
