.DISCUSSION...

Hot and dry conditions will continue through the forecast period.
Overnight humidity recovery will be poor to moderate. Winds on
Sunday will be out of the south and southeast in the morning
transitioning to west to northwest winds in the afternoon. Winds
in the northwest section of the fire near the Banning Pass are
more likely to come from the west to northwest all day Sunday.
Winds on Monday will predominately be out of the west to
southwest. Gusty afternoon and evening winds can be expected both
Sunday and Monday. The steep and complex terrain will likely
result in significant influence on local winds, which may be
erratic at times at the confluence of canyons and along ridges.
