...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS OF WHITEFISH BAY...

The areas affected include...
  Whitefish Bay (U.S. Portion)/Whitefish Point to Point Iroquois
  MI...

At 947 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 40 nm north of Sault Sainte Marie
to 8 nm west of Paradise, moving east at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
