...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...
  Caribbean Waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N...
  Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Coastal Waters OF Southwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Mona Passage Southward to 17N...

At 524 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and occasional lightning.
These thunderstorms were located over the Caribbean waters, Mona
Passage and the Atlantic Waters northwest of Puerto Rico.

Sudden waterspouts are possible with these thunderstorms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
