.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Philippe was located well S of the
area near 22.6N 65.9W at 5 PM EDT this afternoon, and was moving
N at 10 kt. Philippe will continue N tonight through Fri, move to
just S of the area near 36.9N 65.4W by 2 AM EDT Sat, to 40.9N
65.9W by 2 pm EDT Sat while transitioning into a post-tropical
cyclone, and then will track N into New Brunswick Sat night into
Sun. See the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
Otherwise, a weak cold front will stall over the area this
evening, and then dissipate later tonight. High pressure will
build N and NE of the waters tonight through Thu, then shift E of
the region Thu night into Fri night. A strong cold front will
approach the coast Sat, then move across the waters Sat night
into Sun. A series of low pressure troughs will move through the
region later Sun through Mon night.
