New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak high pressure ridge
will relax today as a cold front slowly approaches from the NW.
The front will stall inland tonight and persist through Thu. Then
another cold front will approach from the W Thu and push offshore
Thu and track across the waters between Thu night and Fri before
existing to the E by early Sat. Weak high pressure will then
build over the waters Sat and persist through Sat night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TODAY...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Chance of showers and tstms early, then areas of fog. Vsby
1 NM or less.
