New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Broad low pressure over Nova
Scotia will gradually move SE tonight and early Tue, pushing a
surface trough across the waters. High pressure builds in later
Tue, continuing through Wed. Low pressure moves off of the mid-
Atlantic coast Wed night, slowly moving N to off of the New
England coast by Thu night while strengthening. The low should
continue to move NE into the Gulf of Maine Fri, and then into SE
Canada Fri night with a surface trough extending SW from the low
across the area. Since the low will be slow to move E, the
surface trough will continue over the waters Sat and Sat night.
