Strong thunderstorms developed during the early afternoon hours of Tuesday, July 7, 2026 across southeast Wyoming. Two particular storms produced highly visible landspout tornadoes in eastern Laramie County. Damage was not reported with either landspout. .Tornado # 1... This landspout lofted dust nearly to the cloud base and was evident on radar for nearly ten minutes. Photos, video, and radar were used to determine the location. Rating: EF-U Estimated Peak Wind: Unk. mph Path Length /statute/: 5.2 miles Path Width /maximum/: 20 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: July 7, 2026 Start Time: 1:38 PM MDT Start Location: 13 WSW of Albin, WY Start Lat/Lon: 41.39 N, -104.35 W End Date: July 7, 2026 End Time: 1:50 PM MDT End Location: 9 SW of Albin, WY End Lat/Lon: 41.36 N, -104.26 W This landspout formed underneath a developing cell that formed along a stationary convergence boundary in eastern Laramie County. The landspout was very tall and reported by several observers with photos and video. Additionally, the circulation was evident on radar for approximately 12 minutes.
